5 Things I’ve Been Loving

Happy Friday Eve! We’ve almost made it yet another week. This post is coming atcha quite late in the day since Ted ended up napping when we were out running this morning. I’m glad that all my effort and struggle resulted in a bit of shut-eye for him (insert eye roll here). Anyways this is just a little effort from me to spread a little joy or positive energy out into the world.

So here we go, in no particular order.

5 Things I’ve Been Loving This Week

Spring Weather!

The weather has finally started warming up and the sun is shining! It makes such a huge difference in my outlook on life. Like, yes there is a global pandemic going on but at least I can sit at my dining table and feel the sun on my face. Teddy and I have been going on quite a few walks and runs since we’ve been home and the sun just makes our outside time that much better.

Baby Hugs

Teddy has started doing this thing where anytime I’m sitting on the floor, he’ll run over and throw himself into my arms for a hug. It really is the best feeling to have an armful of laughing happy baby. He also gives kisses on request now and I’m really taking advantage while I can. After each hug, I demand a kiss and each one if slobbery goodness. For whatever reason, when I went in for a picture afterwards, he wasn’t having it as you can see above.

High Fitness Online

I’ve talked about High Fitness in a few other posts before. It was my favorite workout before the gyms closed and they have since adapted to be all online. It’s such a fun workout with feel-good music that I end each class, even alone in my living room, happy, smiling, and really sweaty.

They have two classes available on their Youtube channel that you can access anytime but they also have live stream classes on their website plus local instructors are teaching live classes on Zoom. I took class from my friend Ali last night and it was such a good time.

New Culinary Adventures

Since there is little variety in my life right now, I’ve been inventing some through cooking. I shared some of my quarantine cooking earlier this week. I have a whole other post of cooking from this week already drafted…

Virtual Window Shopping

While I’m not shopping right now during this global uproar, I’m still enjoying quite a bit of virtual window shopping. You may have noticed that most retailers are trying to combat the economic recession with a plethora of sales. I’ve been eyeing lots of maxi and midi dresses that would be toddler friendly during the summer as well as some new activewear, jumpsuits, shoes, swimsuits…

Anyways, if there are any items that you’ve been eyeing or waiting to go on sale, check on those items now. They probably have a decent discount attached to them right about now.
