Today we have another ‘How To Wear’ post featuring the popular spring and summer trend, the midi skirt. Longer hem lines are 100% back in style for summer and I, for one, am loving it! They are classic with a feminine silhouette, yet still breezy and cool for the warmer months. I also love that all body types can rock mid-length skirts without any problems.

FORMAL
Wear your favorite mid length skirt to your next formal function by pairing it with a set of pumps and a feminine top. With just the right touch, you can have people believing that you are actually wearing a dress. It’s a feminine and summery twist on the classic party dress.
Office Wear
Tucking a silk shirt or blouse into your favorite neutral mid length skirt can make this summer trend office friendly. Depending upon wear you work, structured sandals are a great option for summer. If not, add some closed toe sling-backs for a more formal look.
(Psst. I only have this mint colored skirt so think about opting for navy or cream colored if you are planning on wearing this look to the office)
Casual
A midi skirt with a striped top is the perfect outfit for your next weekend picnic. The skirt keeps this simple look away from a plain ol’ tee and shorts. Just add red lips for a too cool French girl feel. If you like making a statement, opt for a bold bright colored skirt to add some punch to this casual look.

Mid-skirts are so in and super cute. I agree any women can rock this skirt. My favorite one is definitely work wear. I have worn mine with a crop top and I loved the finsh look.
